This Privacy Policy explains how AutoDoorExperts collects, uses, stores and protects personal information gathered through our website and booking platform in Riyadh and Dammam, Saudi Arabia. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Data We Collect
When you use AutoDoorExperts, we collect: (a) Identity & contact data — your name, phone number, email address, and property address provided during booking; (b) Usage data — pages visited, booking history, device type, browser, and IP address; (c) Payment data — transaction reference numbers processed securely through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers); (d) Communications — chat messages, support tickets, and call recordings for quality assurance.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: process and confirm bookings; dispatch the right technician to your location; send appointment reminders and service updates via SMS and email; process payments and issue VAT-compliant invoices; improve platform features and personalise your experience; comply with legal obligations under Saudi law; and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
Location Data
To dispatch technicians accurately across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, Medina, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we collect the property address you provide at booking. If you grant location permission in your browser or device, we may use your approximate GPS coordinates to auto-fill your address and assist with technician routing. Location data is not sold to third parties and is retained only for the duration of the service appointment and the subsequent 90-day dispute window.
Sharing with Technicians & Partners
Your name, property address, and contact number are shared with the assigned technician solely for the purpose of completing your booking. Technicians are contractually bound to handle this data confidentially and may not use it for personal marketing or contact after the job is complete. We may share anonymised, aggregated data with analytics providers, payment processors, and cloud hosting partners who are contractually required to protect your data.
Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies to keep your session active, preference cookies to remember your language choice (Arabic/English), and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the platform. Data Retention
We retain your account and booking records for 5 years from the date of last activity, as required for VAT audit purposes under Saudi regulations. Payment transaction records are kept for 7 years. Location data linked to completed jobs is deleted after 90 days. You may request early deletion of non-essential data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Your Rights
Under applicable Saudi data protection regulations and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to: access a copy of the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of data we are not legally required to retain; withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; and lodge a complaint with the relevant Saudi authority. Security
AutoDoorExperts uses TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, and role-based access controls to limit internal data access. We conduct regular security audits and promptly notify affected users in the event of a confirmed data breach, in accordance with PDPL obligations. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords for your account.
